Mystical Photography is based out of Springfield, MA. We have and will travel to New York, New Hampshire, Vermont,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Maine. We can cover any and all photography needs. Equine Event Photography, Wedding
Photography, Senior Portraits, Family Portraits and Modeling Portfolios to name a few.
Jamie Cinq-Mars founded Mystical Photography in 2007. She is currently going back to school to finish her Associates Degree in Graphic Design. The name "Mystical" came from Jamie's Friesian Sport Horse mare "Mystical Illusion". Photography isn't a job to Jamie - it's a passion. It's something she loves doing everyday. Making memories is what makes life worth living.
Equine Photography is where my passion is. As most of you know, horses have been a part of my life for a very long time. It's in my blood. I've leased horses, owned them, trained them, and just recently sold my own "re train" project. Having the knowledge that I do with horses, just makes it 10X easier for me to capture the moment!
I have experience in capturing all disciplines including: Western Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Cross Country, Saddleseat, & even Minis! Capturing the moment isn't always easy. There is that correct striding, the expressions of horse and rider after they win a blue ribbon, and that victory pass down the outside line. We try to come up with new and creative ways to capture each moment for each horse! My new found passion is the Friesian Horse. Friesian offer so much expression and beauty that it is hard not to want to photograph them.
Over the years, I have hired a few associate photographers to help in my business growth and to help tag-team my adventures. However you can be assured that I will always oversee the work and will be in charge of ensuring that the memories of your special day are captured to perfection. My work has been featured in many magazines.
